I must be old school, when the songwriter performed their own songs from true experiences. No formula. No songwriters teams. Just authenticity from the heart. I wait on the Lord to put in through experiences to live within the song. So that the song is real. And when I perform it, it's real, fans understand that. Fans are now waking up to formula songwriters & performers. Just like radio, on the way out. People, fans want reality. They know when a song is designed to push their buttons. Or came from a guy with a degree in songwriting. That's just fake. Only writing and creating a song just to make it a hit. My idea, is to create songs based on true experiences. No matter if it's a hit or not. It's real.

I also wish people would stop hating on performers who don't write their own music because they really are separate skills and not everyone has both and it shouldn't be a requirement to be both.
