A ryokan is a traditional Japanese style inn. The hotel also has natural hot springs which are called onsen in Japan. The hallways & rooms are lined with tatami mats. You must remove your shoes before you enter and store them away in a locker of your choosing. Don’t forget to take your key with you cause you’ll need them to get your shoes back.
