Even if your DTC is lost communication if your system is not calibrated or configured you can't solve the problem issue, only reminder that you should check also for the right configuration of the vehicle type.

If take out gear box plug should 120 oms and plug back in 60 oms with aternator resister

yess you say correct,i diagnose a lexus it scan only ecm but other moudeles cant be scan then i find shorten eps motor❤️

There are different tests that you need to do to determine if there is a fault on your Can-Bus system, You need to do resistance tests, 'Can High Speed' & 'Can Low Speed' Voltage tests. Etc etc.

I can out box first at diagnostic port then put my meter across it but check voltage aswell 2.4v and 2.3 can hi and can low
