AI Indexing: New Galaxy AI features are re-scanning your photos and data to build the new searchable database. Calibration: The battery usage patterns are resetting to learn your habits on the new software. These tasks are CPU-heavy and generate heat, which drains the battery. The best thing you can do is leave the phone on a charger while you sleep or when you’re not using it. Give it 2–3 days for the background 'heavy lifting' to finish, and your battery life will return to normal (or better). Patience is key!

I've turned these settings off before. I just checked, and they were turned back on. Possibly after the 8.5 update??? Either way, it should have remained off
