Thank you so much everyone for your love and support. 🫶🏻 After spending almost a month in the hospital, my doctors recommended that I go to a rehabilitation facility to get help learning how to walk again and with doing everyday activities. I really wanted to go home and be comfortable, my doctors have agreed to allow me to do in-home rehab. I have a nurse that comes to help me and a physical therapist and occupational therapist that also come to my home a few times a week. In a moment, life change for me. 😞 It is estimated that it will take me six weeks to be able to get back to somewhat of normalcy. I was kind of discouraged hearing that. After working with my physical therapist yesterday, we are setting a goal for three weeks for me to be able to walk again. 💪🏼 I am currently using a walker. I’ve been sharing my journey with you all in hopes to inspire someone not to give up. Three years ago, my life was changed forever, and after that, my health started to decline. It’s funny though because so many people will look at me, look at my pictures and look at my videos and think that I look OK, that I look healthy. Meanwhile, I’m going through so much and I have been going through so much. I deal with chronic pain with so many other things going on. Everyday, I fight back, I refuse to give up. 🙌 My smile has always been real, no matter what I’ve been going through. 😊 I’m in good spirits mentally. I know that God has a plan for me and I’m trusting it. 🙏 I’ve learned that no matter how much you take care of yourself, things can still happen. I’ve also learned that it’s important to take things a moment at a time, to look at only the step in front of you, instead of looking at the mountain ahead. It sometimes makes life easier and less overwhelming. Just a reminder, there’s so many people out there that are fighting silent battles. Things people are not talking about. Kindness can go so far. Even a smile, a hug, a nice compliment. A little bit can go a long way. You can literally change someone’s life with the smallest act of kindness. Imagine if all of us did one simple kind thing per day?! 🤩 We could all be the positive change that the world needs. 🥰 The world needs more love. ❤️ Thank you for following my journey. 🥰🙏❤️
