Standing on a nearby mountain and lit by the hellish glow on the horizon: “So it’s going to be a while before we can get an adventuring party in there, but even from here I can tell you that your builders didn’t install the double walls around your lava flows as required.”

out sourcing to undead labor cut maintenance cost by 85% and everything was fine untill a botched rune update sent the planning orb off its podium. it's gonna cost a fortune to contract the adventurers needed to roll it back

“The wizard outsourced some of the technical aspects, but was under pressure and didn’t want to listen to the safety artificer and have to delay the project. The tragic result outshone some of his best cast fireballs and traumatized many people. He barely learned any lesson and would have a great many examples of hubris and arrogance to follow.”

My latest dungeon is a state of the art slightly unethical science lab that has been abandoned for 1000 years. The hellgate WAS kind of a pain in the ass to keep open.
