@thestartracker: Say hello to the proud pop pops! Former co-stars and current in-laws Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence were happy to welcome their newest grandchild to the family. Eddie's son, Eric Murphy, married Martin's daughter, Jasmine Page Lawrence in May 2025, after several years of dating. The pair announced the birth of their first child, daughter Ari Syke, in April 2026. When asked by Entertainment Tonight if he had any advice for the new parents, Eddie said, “You don’t give advice like that. Your kids don’t go by your advice. Your kids go by the example you set. They watch you. Stuff you be saying, they don’t even pay that no mind.
