Cherry blossoms were in full bloom in Aomori, Japan when we went. We were so lucky we went at the time we did because literally the same night, it rained so hard that a lot of the petals fell. It wasnt as full the next day. If you want to see Cherry blossoms in Japan late April, check out Hirosaki, Aomori! It’s arguably one of the best places (if not, THE BEST) to view Cherry blossoms 🌸 and that is what many locals say!!
