Collagen doesn’t make ur body produce more you’re right but what does absorb from collagen is moisture. There’s also salmon dna which is rejuvenating and helps with moisture. There’s also volufiline which is what plumps the skin it’s not a lot or long lasting but it does good. I’m a licensed esthetician and I use this product on my lips and under eyes there’s definitely a difference
