Yes, because I feel like our brains are drawn to familiarity. No matter how bad our old lives are, we still don’t want to let that go because accepting the new life would mean jumping into the unknown, and our brains won’t accept that because we, as humans, just hate uncertainty.

Yes but I’m letting go of the old. With the clothing i buy really good clothes I keep so I’m mixing them up making them hip and edgy with new stuff thrown in. Armani jackets with torn jeans polo plaid button down cool sneakers or doc Martin paten leather boots. and Ray bans. Crystal bracelets. No watch. Ive been working on it longer maybe There is a transition phase.
