Wow, some juicy premiums going that close to ITM. Long term, even if assigned, should still be a good pickup. Even wheeling it, good pickup price. I should probably get a little more aggressive. Before I learned about CCs and CSP, I had gotten AMD for about $77 a share during that last big dip last year, then sold when it rocketed to $224. Bought back in low 200s. This last rocket up is nuts, happened so quickly. Letting my 1 CC get assigned at $270 May 15 exp.

I think that’s where a lot of people go wrong in their strategy. These different purchase/profit strategies aren’t mutually exclusive. I made my wealth by mixing/matching short term trading, swing trading and long-term investing. The longer you’re in the market, the easier it is to identify opportunities across all strategies

AMD has consistently been a money destroyer for me, for some reason I struggle to invest or trade it. I invest it immediately plummets, I trade it and it does something it wasn’t expected to do. It’s got my number.

I remember in 1996 when I got a call from my broker to buy 1000 shares of $AAPL @.86c/share. And I said no. Apple is a dying company. Back in 1996 $MSFT was flying with the release of WIN 95. Go figure.
