My husband is Red/Green deficient (colorblind, but not as severe as yours). He'll often grab purple drinks by accident thinking they are blue drinks. Or if the flavor has a weird name that doesn't indicate what it actually tastes like. He accidentally bought a navy and hot pink striped shirt thinking it was navy and gold. Bless his heart. (He also thought peanut butter was green, which still blows my mind).

You know whats really hard as a person who can’t see color? I’m sure you can relate: buying clothes in person or online that has the color labeled, but it’s like some crazy name that tells me NOTHING about the actual color, like “Float Your Boat” or “Panther,” or “Rosetta.” Like I can make an educated guess, but just write blue, brown, gray. So then I have to ask a friend or a salesperson. Very frustrating. Oh and asking a salesperson is always so hard because thy don’t understand why I’m asking them even when I explain.
