genuine question: on the Meta platforms, all my profile pictures include my Black partner. Most of the time I don't think about it, but then if/when I leave comments on "controversial/political" topics (ie, human rights), bigots assume I'm my partner and try acting racist towards me- does leaving my selfies with my partner as pfp's count towards digital blackface? i don't ever show or tell my partner about those types of comments, because he doesn't need to see or hear it coming from my screen or mouth. doesn't need to hear it at all but the least I can do is make sure our immediate space and environment is anti-racist in its entirety.
