I used to be the same way until I tried some of my coworkers snap on tools, they hold up so much better, there’s certain things it’s worth spending the money on.

but if your in the profession what’s wrong with buying high quality if your in your garage buy harbor freight stuff but if your in a real garage you should buy quality and life time warranty. it’s about the place your at there’s nothing wrong with buying quality if you need it. if it’s for a quick fix buy cheap nothing wrong with that

Every single mechanic i know who uses snap-on tools, has a bucket next to their tool box where they put all their broken tools to trade in at the snap-on truck next time it rolls through. Point being that ALL tools break. What matters is if the warranty policy is good.

I literally own 1 snap on tool and thats it because i remember when i bought this 3/8 impact dude said it will be $585 also i forgot my light i love so much fr from snapon because i think they dont make those head lamps anymore but $585 for a 3/8 impact is insane!

Both are good. Some snap on stuff is way better than harbor freight. Some stuff is just not worth the money off snap on

The only thing I won't buy that's Pittsburg is sockets or wrenches. The wrenches always don't have the bite and round bolts. Sometimes sockets are the same. I step up to quick or icon for sockets. And Icon only for wrenches. Still way cheaper than snap on
