Is there anything you recommend doing if I have a VP shunt and my tubing gets uncomfortable at times and kind of has a sharp pain but only for a few hours is there anything you recommend I could do too lessen the pain around the tubing. I mostly feel it at the connection point of the shunt. I have a VP shunt.

My parents generation was like this: Dr’s were gods. They didn’t question, challenge or dig for more info. When they were both diagnosed with terminal illnesses, by brother and I became their advocates, question askers and care takers.

This touches me greatly. I had a wonderful OBGYN who I would have painted the Moon for. I believed in her every step of the way during my walk through Endometrial Cancer. She got me to the right Endometrial Oncologist, I had Surgery. My OBGYN left to go Teach at Med School in Kansas City and I’m devastated because I so believed in her. I’m actually afraid to go to someone else. 🥲

Hey Doctor. I really need to to practice here in Sacramento California because I am not being adequately treated for severe pain, arthritis and what I believe is sacroiliac joint pain. I am losing this fight and it has completely eroded my mental health. So many restrictions have been placed on physicians who are willing to prescribe narcotic pain meds but narcitics causing a disconnect between them and their doctors. People are dying due to untreated pain.
