my tiniest baby todd just came up from his first molt this week and first ever since I've had him he has so much more colour and bigger appetite and loves when I come to check on him now he used to be my grumpy pants I still have one Sally who has been under for about a month and a half im still nervous everyday if she's okay its my first time having molters here's todd running to say hi and eat

Girl I just moved back to the Jersey shore, and I walked the seaside boardwalk yesterday and literally thought of you when I saw that one of the shops had hermit crab pictures all over their windows

Just got my nine year-old two hermit crabs one of them immediately went underneath the molt and then after a week, the second one went underneath. Makes me nervous.

I know I am probably not gonna get any help but thought I would ask. I went on to vacation and was able to buy 2 hermit crabs and try to save them from those stupid little ocean shops. I am trying my best to give them the home they deserve. I made an Amazon list for anyone who is willing to help.

How long is a molt? I rescued 2 from a beach shop. One is thriving and one went under April 15th after moving into hi new shell. TIA

So happy your babies came back up! 💙🦀I actually just rescued a new hermit crab that’s missing one of his eyes! I’m hoping he may be able to begin regenerating it with a couple molts but for now we just rocking with baby Left Eye 🥹
