@kathysannnn: We are adult women and it’s been done over and over again, I promise you that if something feels uncomfortable, we are capable of stopping and make adjustments.
First pregnancy I gained 60lbs, second pregnancy I promised myself I would do better, only gained 30 lbs and I managed loose all 30 lbs with in one week postpartum 🥹🫶🏻

specially in the Hispanic community the older generations say if you continue to workout you will lose the baby...I gained 90lbs with my first baby I was 17 by my second I was 27 more educated and I was at the gym twice a day like normal I gained 10 lbs and lost them immediately after.

I ran my first half marathon pregnant with my daughter. 13.1 miles at 6 months. 🙂↔️🤪 do what makes you feel good!! I have always been a runner & loved working out, did it with both my pregnancies !! As long as you & baby are healthy, you can do it all 💕💕

I think it’s more about if you were working out previously, if your body can sustain it, if you started lifting weights as a beginner during pregnancy I don’t think that would be recommended ?

I worked out 3-5 days a week my first pregnancy, I’ve maybe worked out 3-5 times this second pregnancy and it’s SHOWN physically and mentally! My first had was less complications, but I was 100x happier and healthier.

If you’ve been weight lifting, it’s not an issue. I don’t have kids but plan on lifting when I do get pregnant like you! The doc says as long as it’s not something new being added it’s fine. 💪

The only time you shouldn't workout is if a medical professional tells you to. Other than that, stick with your routine. It will do you good later in pregnancy and after.

As a nurse I feel like my managers are mad I’m still even working. They don’t let me do my job and then get frustrated that they’re helping me.

2nd trimester with twins. Just finished a safe workout and pushed weights that my body felt comfy with. Omg that one workout helped relieve some of the pelvic pressure I’ve been dealing with and my body is THANKING me. We don’t work out if our doctors tell us not to, otherwise there are plenty of pregnancy safe workouts. And props to you for getting those workouts in during the 1st trimester!

My doctor told me if you have been lifting it’s okay to continue to lift. But if you’re pregnant like far along you shouldn’t start.

Well said!! I am a mama of 2 boys. Both of my pregnancies I did CrossFit 5 days a week up until I delivered. My labor and recovery were a breeze both times. And getting back to my pre pregnancy body came easier too. 🙌🏼
