I totally agree 👍🏻 the fact that some people consider all expos unethical because of these bad breeders making profit of animals is sad :(

Right It doesn’t matter what animals we are talking about reptiles dogs cats horses goats ect there are always going to be people that are unethical in way they do it

is it ever possible to get a senior reptile? idk if this sounds bad but I've never had a reptile and am unsure about the commitment level. (obviously im not getting anything ANYTIME soon as im still researching)

I love the expos because you can see the breeder and multiple animals they have. You can get a vibe off them. One of the animals might call out to you that you weren’t necessarily expecting. I somewhat impulse buy, but I know what I have at home to house what I buy. I always have substrate, branches, rocks, hides, cork bark & enclosures available. I know what I’m looking to buy, but it may not be what I end up finding.

In Europe several countries are looking in to ban Expo's like my country the Netherlands, I think this is a big mistake for example push the illegal trade and trunk sales in parking lots. I think one thing that should be done better is that the lit should be one way see through (out to in) and black boxes so the animals have a little less visual stress.

This is my sweet girl Zira. She is a 7 year old retired breeder that I got from an expo recently. She was very healthy, good size, and well hydrated. I personally haven’t had any bad experiences from an expo

I saw this breeder at an expo that didn't bring any of his snakes. He set little like tinder profiles for all of them. And then you order them from there!! It's so nice of them.
