I live in a smaller town. The closest ER is 45 minutes away. I was having severe pains. I went to the urgent care, they wanted to charge me ER prices….of like $500, when my co-pay was only $50. This was all after services were rendered. I fourth them tooth and nail…..in the hallway. Needless to say, I only paid the $50. It’s all BS!!!!!

I have some crazy bills from some medical issues with my son. I’ve asked for itemized bills and they always flounder around and don’t send them. I’m so over it ! Insurance is a dang if you do and dang if you don’t !! They are getting the bare minimum payments .

Same here! Aristotle was the company. But the problem was that my PCP didn't tell me about the cost, just like you said. I'm so mad!!!

Went to dentist, had verified first that they carry my insurance and even go estimates for work of $225. Paid the $225, got work done and left. Got a bill for $1,000 a month later. Called and was told they do carry all insurance but they are out of pocket!!! We had some words on why would they not notify patients that they are out of network and why was the estimate they gave me after verification of insurance $225 vs what was billed. Absolutely insane! Had to pay because I’m not about to wreck my credit but I’m still pissed about it!

Our insurance sucks of course but took my wife to the ER. 2 hours of mainly waiting around along with a couple tests. Over $20k. Our part was just over $2k.
