@castielvscancer: This photo says everything that words sometimes can’t express… 💙 Looking at these images, I see how much we have loved this little boy since the very first second of his life. His dad holding him with that smile… I will never forget that day. It was all joy, all hope, all love. 💛 And today, here we are. Back at the hospital. We had only been home for 2 days. Just two days. And we had to come back because Castiel got very sick again. The last few weeks have been incredibly hard. And in the middle of all of this, my heart is divided in three. I have 3 children. Castiel, who is here with me fighting. Our baby girl, only 3 months old, who is also here with me. And Nicolas, my older son, who has to stay home because of school. And that is exactly what breaks my heart the most — not being able to be close to Nicolas. Being a mother of three, with my heart split between the hospital and home, is something only those who live it can truly understand. This journey is about to reach one year. One year of fights, tears, sleepless nights, prayers, and strength we don’t even know where we find — but we always find it. It hasn’t been easy. It never was. But our family will never give up. We can’t give up. Because deep in our hearts, we hold onto the hope that one day, Castiel will be healed. That all of this will just be a part of the story of a warrior boy who won. 💛 Thank you to everyone who has been by our side on this journey.
