@sarajaneho: In Chinese households women rinse our underwear in the shower before going into the laundry wash. It’s a simple preventative habit that removes residue right away, keeps bacteria from sitting in fabric, and reduces cross-contamination with other clothes. I didn’t realize other girls didn’t do this until I went to Georgetown and had roommates who I shared bathrooms with! Cleaner fabric = better support for intimate health.
