@brooklynfoodlady: 🍎 NYCmaxxing episode 3: is there any good (affordable) food in FiDi? I generally avoid Manhattan’s Financial District like the plague, because the food tends to be slop-py, soulless, and very expensive 😒 BUT I recently found myself there after a doctor’s appointment and I was on a mission to find something redeeming about the area’s lackluster dining scene. And what can I say? I found love in a hopeless place at Farida, where authentic and hearty Central Asian fare is served in an aggressively thematic, but not unconvincing, manner. So yeah while I will carry on avoiding FiDi, if you find yourself unfortunate enough to end up there, then at least take solace in the fact that there is really delicious and relatively inexpensive food available at Farida (📍 32 Cedar St). • Follow along for more tips on how to make the most of your NYC experience!
