Just her voice, on a ladder, a Polish song nobody posts any more but everyone still knows. The bucket-hat boy picked up the second line. The girl with the bubble tea picked up the third. By the chorus half of us were singing while we worked. Nobody filmed it. Grandma turned her face away so nobody would see her smile. By evening the phones were back in our pockets.
