everyone seems mad about the water overall, technically taco seasoning calls for some water to be added with the seasoning.. she did put a lot of water and she did realize that so Idk why it’s a big deal

I know I’m late, but for those hating on the water - this is a pretty standard restaurant practice. The beef will shrink as all the fat and water renders out, this rehydrates it and mostly just contributes to bulk - water is free, more ground beef is not🫶

i agree w the water ofc with all those seasonings & dry beef LOL but maybe next time turn it on high heat & pray a lot will evaporate?? since it's ground beef it can't really be messed up by being smaller lol

When you add too much water just boil it off... Cook it on high for a few minutes and voila!

when I add too much water ill pull some out and turn it to a higher heat and let it boil down. the mix it add in the other water(dont waste the seasoning 😂) and let that simmer correctly

You can watch Mexican tik tok and there could be some helpful taco ideas. Such as you can add carna asada seasoning with the taco seasoning to elevate the flavor. You can also make Spanish black or red beans as a side. Use Sazon and some vinegar for the beans. You can blend bell peppers, onion and garlic for the meat and beans and use beef tallow and a side of avacados it will help 💖
