My dad actually builds car dealerships built a Lexus dealership in Port St. Lucie $100 million dealership. They call it packing you typically have anywhere from $60-$5000 to negotiate with that’s how much they pack those the owner will put 50 grand on every car immediately. Then the general manager typically puts about 10 to 20,000 then you have your sales people that are only allowed a cap of five grand. So when you go to buy a new car, ask him how much is packed into it already then you know where to negotiate starts at have a blessed day.

I feel like your average is way off on this one. I bought my new Luxury+ with all of the add ons, wheel package, gap insurance etc and with my insurance, maintenance, and car payment we are at $1200 tops with only $5k down mainly towards the little tax, title, tag stuff.
