I went to my local nissan dealership to service my 23 altima and they said they dont do drain and fill and recommended i do a flush instead, i told the no and left. What are my options?

My wife had a 2011 Nissan Rogue that had 130k miles on it when we sold it last year. We always did the CVT service every 30k miles. It never failed on her. So she got a 2026 Nissan Rogue. The amount of people who won't service their vehicle is shocking.

🙄 Our daughter had a 2017 Rogue and had ZERO issues with it. Just recently traded it in. She never had the transmission service done

I had a Nissan Versa and serviced the transmission according to the manufacturer specifications, never had any issues and sold it at 150k miles

I work at a ford dealership and it never fails that people come and we recommend services they think we are just trying to up sell.

I drive a 2007 Subaru Outback and a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, both are well over 250k miles and I’d trust them to drive across the country tomorrow because I maintain them. I get my transmission service, I fix everything immediately, i understand there’s some vehicles that just suck but a lot of these vehicles will run forever if they are just regularly maintained

my Nissan transmission crapped out at 70k. once I got the new one, I serviced it RELIGIOUSLY and had such a good run with it. in my experience, Nissan are pretty resistant to negligence on all other maintenance. service the cvt and you'll get a lot of life out your car.

when i sold nissan i told every customer this, do the reccomended service because you cant beat on these cvts like you can beat on a 6 speed, and even if you go to another manufacturer, they all use them now
