you wouldn’t be able to use it effectively what so ever on feasible and sustainable rate limits. They pumped them in previous months because open ai was on 2x rate limits while everyone was glazing every edge anthropic was scraping up on zero shot mode capability. That’s why you invest in the harness and post training which is what has been carrying us past 0 shot. I don’t think open ai has even begun pre training on B series GPUs

To be fair, $20 is way too cheap. The outcome is absolutely worth $200 / month for all top-tier models. But indeed there must be some $20 version to try / proof the benefits. Agree that many will flee to OpenAI, but they will inevitably raise prices too
