You don’t care about consumers when you use all those chemicals but everyone should care about your profits?

When i started farming in the 80’s it was all about profit per acre. It’s why no till was low going. You could work land cheaper than you could spray it. Did you buy Pioner or Garst. It was all input cost to get profit per acre. Would you rather harvest 300 bu corn or two hundred bushel corn and make more money per acre on 200

okay but let's be honest, yield is what matters because yield is going to say the same profit is going to be determine year by year by how much you put into the product, and how much you get paid for your end results, so then you have to determine if you're putting too much in to what you're going to get out of it. so you need to know how much you are going to get out of it in the end. But also, no one gives a lick about you, they just want to sell their product.

Seems like you attended a sales pitch, not a profitability meeting so this makes complete sense. Coops are a business so that’s what they do is sell stuff.

Coop I work for is wayyy different. Our salesman is an amazing guy who loves what he does and is customer satisfaction over making a sale. It sucks there’s bad apples in every buisness, slandering the industry as a whole is wrong

People have shown that they will not self-regulate given the opportunity. This is why they need to be externally regulated with consequences.

If you think not a single person selling chemicals cares about the farmer you need a new salesman
