Depends on the mileage cause high mileage on small cc bikes is around 25-30k miles unless you are just getting it as a starter bike you intend to learn on then upgrade in a few months

Do not buy anything that’s restored or salvaged title as your first bike. You’ll have a hard time trading it in or selling it. If you absolutely need it low ball the 💩 out of them

search for the bike and year you're looking for and see what the average prices are so you get an idea how much they should go for. also, check out yami noon on YouTube, alot o good info and content.

Seems a bit shady for me, I wouldn’t do it personally. I know you’re probably on a budget but I would still try and get a 400 so you don’t get bored of it later

I paid 3.5k for my 2019 ninja 400 and it had pretty low mileage so I would say 2k max.

I bought my first bike a 2018 Ninja 300 in 2018 fresh off the lot for 4K but ended up getting a 600 about 5 Months later

Too high. I'd also ask how many owners it's had and for invoices on any services and any parts receipts for the "rebuild" if he can't come up with any it's fishy and move on. If he provide any and has had it serviced since last riding season I'd offer 1800 max2k

you are not ready for a 600 unless u can push you 300 to its absolute limit on the twisties ect. do not listen to the comments saying get a 600, they are not forgiving
