I feel like since I’m not pregnant anymore I’m being left behind/forgotten, I’m doing my best to stay myself, to keep up with my responsibilities as a new mom and also a SAHW, so keeping up with the chores etc but lately I just feel like as I’m juggling to try to basically be perfect,while my partner is just doing the bare minimum, which It sounds awful because he is the one who works but I’m taking care of the baby every night while he works, I’m cleaning the house every day, I’m breastfeeding/pumping every few hours, I’m cooking dinner, I’m still trying to keep myself up so showering, doing my hair etc, and on top of that I’m thinking for all 3 of us ALWAYS and yet when I ask for help, he complains or catches an attitude about being tired, but I’m tired too. I’m flooded with hormones and yet I’m still trying to stay positive, but he’s allowed to suck his teeth and roll his eyes when I ask for a simple request? How is that fair. Idk I’m just really tired of trying to keep everything together especially when I feel like the one being left behind. #vulnerability #postpartum #firsttimemom
