People are saying “thrift, thrift, thrift!!” in the comments and I agree, so heres some tips :)! 1st thing is make a thrift board and look through it while looking at something that peaks your interest. Don’t buy something you won’t wear, because someone else will. Adding onto that, make different sections in the board. Necklaces, earrings, bags, belts, tops, pants, shoes, general accessories and full outfits. This is how I figure out what I want to thrift and don’t get crazy buying “I might wear these..” clothes. 2nd is look through ALL of the clothes. Don’t skim. Don’t skip over. Actually look through all of them. It might feel like an arm workout, but if you skip over you might miss an absolutely GORGEOUS piece. Numero 3 is some thrift stores *cough* Goodwill *cough* will put things in the wrong sections. Do you want cute micro shorts, or lace shorts? Check the pajama section. Tank tops or dresses? Check the pajamas section! Corsets if you’re lucky? Pajama (or lingerie) section! Oversized jackets..? JK, that’s the mens section!! Even check the sizes that are too big for you, brand sizes fluctuates, so a XL could be a L, or a M could be a small - it really depends. That being said, bring a spray sanitizer and try on said ‘too large” or “too small” OR “just right” items. Don’t be a Goldilocks. Remember, patience is key, and you may have to look through the ENTIRE store to find something worthy. 💜💜 :)
