I just had to go to one two weeks ago when I was there … walked in, taken immediately.. X-ray and MRI .. done in 45 min and left with NO bill .. and the hospital was the most pristine I’ve ever been in …

I'm amazed at the same day MRIs for $35-$50. In the US, we have to wait roughly a week (sometimes more or less) and pay hundreds of dollars. Then wait upwards of a week to meet with our doctor to go over the results.

I use the VA health plan and I would say their hospitals and clinics include most that not all avoid we were talking about. The only thing the VA hospital I didn’t like was the food. Staff and the doctors are very professional. The veterans are well received. I may have had to wait a bit for some appointments, but it was worth it.
