Yeh mate I feel you. I copped this in primary school in the mid 70s. My mum packed so much Greek food in my lunch. But I must say I had this Australian kid (Jason) and he always wanted to swap his sangas for my food. He loved the Greek food. We became best mates and the funny thing is that he and I married 2 Greek sisters. And he learnt so much Greek. He just lived everything That was Greek 😊

I had the same experience but I gave back as good as I got with interest. I hold no grudges as times were very different then and it helped strengthen me, physically and emotionally.
