@laraseverinoo: Replying to @sachibibarks if Mt Fuji is on your Japan list, my take is to 100% hire a car!! 🚙🏔️🇯🇵 skip the bus, skip the group tour. it's cheaper, more flexible, and was one of the best days out of all my 5 trips to Japan 🤭 pit stops worth checking out 👇🏻 📍 Arakurayama Sengen Park where you will find Chureito Pagoda, especially stunning during cherry blossom season 🌸 📍 Oishi Park, my personal favourite. lotssss of seasonal flowers and the soft serve flavours here are unreal (lavender, peach rose, nemophila) 🪻 📍 lunch at Restaurant Konami, a local Japanese spot near Lake Kawaguchi. tempura, udon, soba, tatami seating. bring cash! 📍 Mt Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, a 3 minute ride up to Mount Tenjo with sweeping views of the lake and Fuji behind it. on my list for next time!! 📍 Oshino Hakkai, a tiny traditional village built around natural spring ponds that feels completely from another world!! scenic walking tracks and trails, can spend around 2 hours here! things to sort before you go: → international driver's licence, you cannot hire a car or go-kart without it, sort this before you leave home → ask for an ETC card at pickup, this covers your toll roads so you're not stopping to pay manually the whole trip we split the car between four of us and paid around $20 each. the group bus tours were going for $60-80 per person 👀 p.s ‘LARASEVKLOOK’ for $$ off when booking Japan activities & more via Klook ⭐️ #japantrip #japantravel #tokyo #tokyojapan #mountfuji
