I always seem to just end up with friends of convenience. I’ll think that we’re close and then as soon as we’re not in close proximity anymore, they never want to make plans anymore and the friendship just slowly dies. Starting to think I’m just boring or annoying atp bc no one ever wants to hang out with me.

Yes, that’s why people need to categorise their friendships so they don’t get upset, for example I wouldn’t pick up good friend I work with from the airport but friend A I normally hang outside from work/study I would pick up. They are equally good friends but I already categorise them from day 1.
