I don't use a handbrake on a steep hill. Press clutch and brake fully, find a bitting point while pressing the brake, release the brake and press gas after feeling pulling vibrations.

As a new manual driver, should I know or try to remember where my cars bite point is or should I just feel it out every time and not try to remember exactly where it is? Does it change depending on roads?

i have a problem and im seeking for advice. When i drive from a steep hill and i lift clutch to the bite point and i press the gas pedal and my front wheels just spin in place for a couple of seconds before gripping. It is very concerning and scary for me

I have learned to drive in a car with an electric brake and I only learned how to do hill starts with the foot brake, and now even when I'm driving a car with a normal mechanical brake I can only ever use the foot brake for hill starts
