NAC is an evidence-backed supplement that has been researched for endometriosis. NAC is an antioxidant and precursor to glutathione. Studies have found NAC to combat oxidative stress, reduce inflammation, relieve pain and shrink ovarian endometrioma cysts in women with endometriosis. However, cyst shrinkage averaged only 1.5mm. On the otherhand, in a small number of cases, cysts disappeared altogether!
