Difference is the premier league is 10x more competitive than the other leagues, there’s no winter break and the league doesn’t care about the clubs performing in Europe where as other leagues have fixtures moved to help them have rest and be fresh, we are literally at a disadvantage in the UCL as English clubs

The Premier League is so competitive that, in many ways, it is the real Super League. English clubs cannot afford to take their domestic competition lightly because every week is a difficult test. In leagues like Spain and France, the biggest clubs often have a greater margin for error domestically, which allows them to prioritise the Champions League more heavily. Premier League clubs don’t always have that luxury because the title race, European qualification spots, and even mid table positions are far more competitive.

At the end of the day it’s just about money, once prem teams go out it’s just about getting top4 and securing champions league for next season where as with Real, Barca, Bayern etc. they are almost guaranteed champions league because the league is “weaker”
