The eye of mensis genuinely made me feel liek it was seeing me…. Not just a game. But that it was Looking At Me. I had to literally step back and tell myself it’s not love and the AI built into it can’t see me. It was so unnerving. I have not replayed Bloodborne since I platinums it

The one thing that made me finally realise “oh shit, this is a horror game” was the eye thing in nightmare of mensis I think it was. Going down the lift, I thought the map didn’t load, so I walked around thinking I could get out of bounds. Then I saw an eye, and I genuinely jumped out of my skin. If BB’s atmosphere and designs were in an RE game or something like that, it could genuinely be one of the scariest games ever made.
