I find a good way to get accustomed to being hit is to do it. The guys on my block used to do as a kid when I was studying 52 blocks we would stay out of the face but hit as hard as we could to the body, we were allowed to block with the elbows and even use elbows in the body doing this made us realize that contact with just unpleasant. It wasn’t terrifying and that you could endure a hit and recover that’s how I overcame my fear of being hit.
