There are some female serial killers. But men and women process things differently. Men are naturally more aggression cause of testosterone. Pent up aggression leads to violence. Trauma -> Aggression -> Violence -> Serial Killer. Men tend to externalize their distress more than women. Women arent as aggressive as men. They are more "submissive" in a way and seek out validation more so than men. Having gone through trauma they do not go down the route of a killer. They lead down more so towards prostitution. This is more of a general claim as everyone processes things differently and what the trauma is is a case by case basis. But it just to answer the question.

Oh there are.. women just prefer a more subtle method which is usually poison and can take time for it to kill it's mark so by time the women have gotten their first they get discovered whereas most male serial killers are quick and effective at their kills because their victims are smaller and weaker... but that's my thoughts on why there aren't more women serial killers because of their weapon of choice

First of all, serial killer numbers have reduced dramatically, lead poisoning is a candidate partial for this (which effects men and women slightly differently). Also testosterone makes men slightly more physically aggressive than women and slightly less empathic. BUT on the extreme end, that means almost all the really violent and non empathic people are men. Fortunately that's a vanishingly small percentage of men.

women are not subjected to more abuse, it's just more denounced. society pressure is different for man and women,and man and females tend to abuse others in different ways. also,for a female that wants to be a serial killer, it's more difficult to overpower others physically. you just need to use your brain. no male or female are evil just because of sex,and if you think so,you just have a dumb prejudice(and are seeking confirmation,and may be trying to prove something wrong)
