@janetmillsforme: Climate change is at our doorstep — and Maine people are bearing the brunt of it. Today, on Earth Day, let us remind ourselves of the critical role we all play in protecting the beautiful state we call home.

I moved to Maine the year Janet Mills took office.
Since then, Maine has become harder to afford and harder to build a future in.
Property taxes are climbing in towns across the state.
Energy costs in one of the coldest states in the country remain unstable and expensive.
Housing prices have surged while supply lags behind demand.
Small businesses face more regulation and rising operational costs.
Leadership sets priorities.
And the priorities coming out of Augusta haven’t protected working families.
You can blame national trends.
But Maine’s tax structure, energy policy direction, regulatory climate, and housing development rules are state-level decisions.
I don’t support the direction Maine has taken under Janet Mills.
Affordability has worsened. Pressure on families has increased.
And rural communities feel ignored.
Maine deserves leadership that lowers costs, strengthens local industry, and puts working families first.

Ya adding solar and wind power to the grid will bring costs down for everyone, my ass added all these solar panels and windmills and all it has done is double our electricity costs ! If it wasn’t for the government subsidies nobody would be using those ! And as far as climate change I’m ok with Florida weather here in Maine!
