Mine came back as that on my shoulder. I go in on Monday to figure out the best procedure to remove it. Since then, I’ve been looking over my body like crazy and I have discovered I actually have them all over the place😭. I should have been checking before now🙈

I had an almost identical spot on my sternum. got it checked out in Tuesday and it also came back basal cell. I go in a few weeks to have it "curettage" or basically just cleaned out more. Hope your treatment goes smoothly!

the derm knows. I get spots like that all the time. Most of the time it’s benign-until one isn’t. BCC can be very invasive and disfiguring if not caught early😳🥰 I had a tiny spot that ended up growing wide and deep. My Moh’s surgeon was amazing and with plastic surgeon you can barely see any scars. If not for derm, Moh’s and facial plastic surgeon-I would be missing half me nose.

My husband had one on his head removed today. His was squamous cell. The surgery was not horrible but it was essential. I wish the screening was more widely publicized.

There are other options for that other than surgery including cream. It does not spread to organs
