@tanner.the.electrician: Here’s the other half of the 3-point saddle video. If you guys have any questions, feel free to reach out to me. I’ve probably tossed a million feet of conduit into the ceiling over the course of the past decade. I’m always happy to help. Also, don’t forget, if you don’t use @IDEAL Electrical benders, you might as well just use your knee!!! Stay tuned. I’ll be tackling 4-Point Saddles next!!! #ideal #conduitbending #fyp #electrician #emt

something I wish someone had told me earlier on was that it's not always 45 and 22s. it can also be 60 30s or even 30 15s.

Just use Field Bend. No math and it walks you through every step.

deductions depend on degree of bend but another method is to mark center accounting for deductions/shrink then measure your other 2 marks based on degree of bend used. now bend the mark on the farthest end from you using the star. Next bend the center mark on the notch at twice the degree of bend, of your first bend. last bend the closest mark on the arrow matching the degree of bend of your first bend. While doing this you should just slide the pipe through the bender after each bend to the next mark without removing it from the bender.

Cool, why didn’t you teach them how to measure and calculate the saddle? All you did was tell them to bend on these lines, well how do you get those lines to begin with.
