So your brain steps in: It acts as a regulator — limiting how much force you’re allowed to produce. Not because you’re weak, but because you’re being protected. It is a survival mechanism. But what if you could turn that off and unlock superhuman strength? In extreme situations, that protection disappears. It’s also a survival mechanism, but used in the complete opposite way. There’s an adrenaline flood in your system, and the inhibition drops, so your body uses everything it has. That’s what people call “hysterical strength.” Now bring that back to the gym. it wouldnt make sense that eddie hall fully tapped into “hysterical strength” because he wouldve been able to do way more then. if hysterical strength is so potent that ordinary people can lift cars, then eddie hall by that logic wouldve been able to do significantly more than what he did. at most he had just some adrenaline
