Warrington sucks. Don’t move here! Congested roads, overburdened hospital. It’s not fair to the existing residents, it’s pushing house prices up higher than other places, which might not seem much to people moving here, but locals see a HUGE difference. I hate this town now. I never wanted to live in a city like place… if thriving is what you call a place basically standing up from soooo many people moving here, then sure, however, Warrington Council is facing a severe financial crisis, having accumulated one of the highest debt levels among English local authorities, peaking near £1.9bn. I can’t afford to buy my housing association house that went from being worth £130,000 pre covid to now 200,000, more people will push prices up even further.
