this is the longest I have ever been single, and it's about one year plus, all I can say is that, aside the loneliness, the peace is so thing that is second to none, you get to discover yourself and what you really want, redefine you boundaries and your goals, but they is a problem, whoever comes into your life will be competing with your solitude, so if you have more peace alone than when you are with that person, it really would be so easy to let them go, you increasingly would find yourself being less tolerant because of the amount of love you have come to love yourself and you will come to understand that majority of the emotional attachment you have had on people in the past is primarily because of your urges, loneliness and the fact that you appreciate potential more than reality. it's a lovely place to be in, just that getting accustomed to the feeling as one who has the major desire to always be with someone is going to be quite hard

Two years plus now . Honestly sometimes it feels peaceful and everything I’ve ever wished for . But then sometimes it hits me that I’m lonely . Go to work and come back with no one to talk to before I go to bed , talk about my day and then when I see happy couples I feel it a lot . I’m happy being single but then it’s a mix of feelings 🥺
