19 next month and I did everything I could ik they care but I want to live my life I work 6 days a week so on my off day I wanna go out and have fun and not have to worry about having to check my phone every hour because if I don’t, I get spammed call or having to worry about going home after a certain time and if I don’t, they start tripping and actually hangout with a guy I find attractive and getting to know him without my dad scaring him away 🫤

i just turned 20. and for all my teenage life i’ve never acted out or disobeyed them in such a huge way. never snuck out, or had a secret boyfriend, or lied about where i was or who i was with. never tried dr*gs or had s*x or did anything like the things a lot of my peers were doing and still are doing. all i do is go to work or go shoooing and just come home. i always gave them the benefit of the doubt. and today i wanted to just hang out with my friends and go see the new spiderman movie. the movie theater my friends are going to is 30 mins away from where i live and my first inclination was just to lie and say im going to a closer theatre, but i caved in and told them the truth and they, as usual, wont let me go. im not trying to make it sound like i hate my parents or anything but everywhere i go they constantly want to come with or monitor who im with or where im going. i know they love me and are just concerned about my safety but how old do i have to be to finally get some kind of privacy and independence? will i be 40 before im allowed to go ANYWHERE on my own???

my mom jst yelled at me bc my sister lefg the dishes for 24+ hours so i couldnt do my chore and took my brand new phone and laptop i got for starting college next year. now all i have is a broken laptop that only has touch screen and i jst got a new jon and theyre suppose to call me soon to set up my finishing info. i took a photo of it earlier and everything. it didnt even matter.
