@charleybournetruecrime: The Chilling Case Of Heidi Childs and David Metzler 💔 In August 2009 two Virginia Tech students, Heidi Childs and David Metzler went on a date night to a secluded spot called Caldwell Fields. They never came home. They were found the next morning by a dog walker and had both been shot. No one could work out a motive for this crime as Heidi and David were both very religious and stayed out of trouble. Although Heidi had some belongings stolen it wasn’t of large monetary value.
