As a paralegal, I’m going to tell you exactly how that’s going to go. They’re going to tell an attorney their version. An attorney will take it until they call you and you send over all of the paperwork. They are probably going to send a demand letter for something ridiculous in either. You guys are going to send a check for the amount of money you sold the car for or say no and they are not going to litigate and nothing is going to happen, but there is a 0% chance they litigate over this.

I get being upset about a denied claim. However throwing a temper tantrum clearly doesn’t help either. Be an adult, accept delivery of the vehicle and dispute the denial. Refusing the asset leaves you no leverage to dispute it the claim. Some people be an extra kind of stupid
